Type B: Verified Fans (VF)

One of the common drop types that we go for hosted on Ticketmaster.

Verified Fans

Think of this as a raffle with very strict rules. Essentially you will need to loop multiple entries with different phone numbers and information to have the chance of hitting these. These entries also have to be on unique IP, and unique fingerprint (will get into this later). Let's look at a recent VF drop to see how this works.

As shown above, you will need a unique first and last name, zip codes (ideally tied to the number you are signing up with), and a phone number per entry. You cannot register phone numbers that are one time use. This is because you will be sent a "winning code" to the phone number that you signed up with. Also keep in mind, if you are planning on doing 50 signups, you will need 50 Ticketmaster accounts (can be freshly made), and 50 numbers. They cannot all be under the same Ticketmaster account.

With these codes, you can either sell them, or "go for the drop". For a very hyped drop such as Adele, codes were selling for around 200-300$ each. Keep in mind win-rate on "Adele" type of drops can be as low as 5% (2-3 accounts per 50 entrees).

Or, you could "go for the drop". This means you are directly joining a queue when the drop goes live, and importing your code to purchase tickets. You are essentially gambling by hoping that your account ends up getting a decent enough queue to be able to purchase tickets. I will go more in-depth in this later in the guide.
